About Not Just a Puzzle
Who’s behind Not Just a Puzzle?
Not Just a Puzzle is the independent publishing brand of Ferrai White — author, educator, puzzle enthusiast, and advocate for the autism and neurodivergent community. Every book in our catalog is researched, written, designed, and tested by a small team led by Ferrai.
What kinds of books do you publish?
Thirteen collections including Word Search (pop-culture, educational, themed), Versus Battles (head-to-head competitive puzzles), Coloring & Mandala (relaxation and mindfulness), Journals (daily dialogue, couples connection), Character & Growth (Common Sense series, life skills), and Kids (ages 5+ word searches and activity books). Buying our books
Why do all your books say “Buy on Amazon” — why not your own checkout?
Because Amazon does it really well. We publish through Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing program, which means Amazon prints and ships our books from their warehouses with Prime delivery. We get to focus on writing better books instead of running a fulfillment operation. You get fast shipping, easy returns, and a familiar checkout. Win-win.
Do you offer printable PDFs or instant digital downloads?
We’re rolling those out for select titles. The fastest way to know when we add a new printable is to join the Reader Club — subscribers get first notice and early-access discounts.
Returns and refunds?
Since print books are sold and shipped by Amazon, returns are handled through Amazon’s standard return policy (typically 30 days). See our full Refund Policy for details, including digital downloads.
Do you ship internationally?
Amazon ships our paperbacks internationally — exact countries and rates depend on the Amazon marketplace you’re shopping from. Kindle/eBook editions are available worldwide.

Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes. For orders of 10+ copies (classrooms, libraries, after-school programs, therapy practices, fundraisers), we offer bulk pricing and custom programs. Email us with what you need and we’ll send a quote within 2 business days.
Are your books appropriate for use in classrooms / therapy / homeschool?
Yes — many of them were designed exactly for those uses. Our Character & Growth, Common Sense, and Kids collections are particularly classroom-friendly, with companion activity workbooks and discussion prompts. Contact us for educator resource packs.
Accessibility & inclusion
Are your books autism-friendly / sensory-friendly?
Yes — this is central to our mission. Ferrai is an advocate for the autism and neurodivergent community. We design with clear layouts, calming themes, large-print options, and predictable structure. Our Autism Awareness Infinity Coloring Book is a dedicated celebration of the community.
Are there large-print versions?
Several titles include large-print and “XL font” editions — the Grown Adults vs Grown Adults series, for example. Filter by collection in the Shop to find them.
The Word Search VS game
How does Word Search VS work?
It’s a free, browser-based version of our Versus Battles book series. One player creates a room and shares a code; another joins. Both race the same grid in real time, first to find every word wins. No download, works on phone or computer. Try it →
Is the game really free?
Yes. Practice mode, online multiplayer, and leaderboards — all free, no account required for most modes.

Not currently. Not Just a Puzzle is a single-author imprint focused on Ferrai White’s own work and small collaborations.
