How to use the Color Palette Generator
Generate a five-colour palette in one click. Choose a mood — Random, Warm, Cool, Pastel, Earthy, or the Not Just a Puzzle brand colours — lock the swatches you love, and keep generating until the rest fall into place. Copy the palette as CSS or export it as a PNG.
How it works
- Pick a mood, or press New Palette (or Space) for a fresh set.
- Lock any colour you want to keep, then generate again to replace only the unlocked ones.
- Press Copy CSS for code, or Export PNG for an image.
Building a palette that works
- Lock one colour you love first, then generate around it.
- Include a dark and a light. A palette needs contrast so text stays readable.
- Use the 60-30-10 rule. One colour covers most of a design, one supports it, and one is a small accent.
