Sort the Calm · Free Calming Sorting Game
⚡ For autistic, ADHD, and sensory-sensitive users
Sort the Calm
Drag to bin: by color, shape, size, or category. No timer, no fail.
How to play Sort the Calm
A quiet sorting game with no timer and no way to fail. Drag each item into its matching bin — sorting by colour, shape, size, category, or a mix. You choose how many items each round has, and comfort settings let you turn off sound, reduce motion, switch to high contrast, or hide the counter. Pause any time; the round waits for you.
How it works
- Choose how to sort: By colour, shape, size, category, or mixed.
- Drag each item into the bin it belongs in.
- Open Comfort to adjust items per round, sound, motion, contrast, and the counter.
- Press Pause to step away, and Resume when ready.
Ways to use it
- Start with colour. It is the most immediate category; size and category sorting ask for more thought.
- Lower the item count for a short, settling activity, or raise it for longer focus.
- Talk about the rule. Asking “why does this one go here?” turns sorting into language practice.
