Sensory Sand Garden
Drag to rake, tap for pebbles. 6 sand colors, auto-saves your garden.
How to use the Sensory Sand Garden
A digital version of a Japanese-style zen sand garden. Drag to rake patterns in the sand, tap to place pebbles, and smooth it all away to start again. Choose between a rake, a smooth stick, and a wide brush. There is no goal and no score — just slow, repetitive movement. Your garden saves automatically, and you can save it as an image.
How it works
- Choose a tool: Rake, Smooth stick, or Wide brush.
- Drag across the sand to draw. Tap to place a pebble.
- Press Smooth all to clear the sand.
- Press Save as image to keep a design.
Ideas to try
- Rake around the pebbles. Circling each stone with the rake is the classic zen-garden look.
- Match your strokes to your breathing. One slow stroke per breath out is a simple way to slow down.
- Try straight lines. Parallel lines across the whole garden take patience and are satisfying to finish.
