Versus Quick-Play
Free 2-player word search race. Share one screen, take turns, first to find every word wins.
How Versus Quick-Play works
Versus Quick-Play turns a word search into a two-player race on a single screen. Enter two names, pick a theme, and take turns: on each turn the active player finds one word. When time runs out, whoever has found more words wins. It is built for passing a phone across the table, sharing a classroom screen, or settling a family rivalry.
How it works
- Type a name for Player 1 and Player 2.
- Pick a theme, then press Start the Race.
- Take turns at the same screen (or pass the phone). Each turn, find one word.
- When the timer ends, the winner is announced. Press Rematch to go again or New theme to switch words.
How to win more races
- Scout while you wait. Use your opponent’s turn to locate your next word, so you can select it the moment your turn starts.
- Take the easy words early. Short words with unusual letters are quick wins; leave long diagonal words for later.
- Watch what they skip. If your opponent keeps avoiding a word, it is probably hard to find — don’t burn time on it either.
Ways to use it
