How to play Word Search of the Day
A new themed word search every day. Words are hidden in a grid of letters — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — and you find them by clicking and dragging across the letters. A timer runs while you play, so you can try to beat yesterday’s time or share your result with a friend.
How it works
- Read the word list for today’s theme.
- Click the first letter of a word and drag to its last letter to select it.
- Found words are crossed off the list. Find them all to finish.
- Use Hint if one word is hiding from you, or Restart to try again.
Word search tips
- Hunt for rare letters first. Words containing Q, Z, X, J, or K are easiest to spot because those letters stand out in the grid.
- Scan for double letters. “LL,” “OO,” or “SS” pairs are quick to find and narrow down where a word sits.
- Search for the first two letters, not one. Looking for “ST” is much faster than looking for every “S.”
- Turn your attention diagonal. Diagonal words are the ones most people miss — check them on purpose.
